Teach others about giving and host your
own diaper drive! Sponsor a diaper drive yourself or ask your
school, youth group, company or other organization to organize
one. Many people want to help, they just don't know how. Give
them the opportunity! Ask friends, collegues, customers, and
vendors to participate and spread the word on LA Diaper Drive
and the work we are doing. Low-income women across Los Angeles
are having to decide whether to buy food or diapers on a daily
basis. Help us give these women a much needed break. Tushies
across Los Angeles will thank you!
To start your diaper drive off, place a box in your lobby
and designate a particular day or week for people to donate
diapers or money. Attach a flyer reminding people of the event.
It will help to put a "starter pack" in the box.
You can designate one Sunday at your church as the day to
bring in diapers or a week at your child's school for all
the kids to bring in diapers. Take a picture of the kids and
the diapers they collected.
Another way to help is to designate LA Diaper Drive as the
beneficiary of your birthday party, group holiday event or
company activity. Have people bring donations of diapers or
cash. We can provide you with customized flyers to send out
with your invitations.
